I have dealt with PT&G. They are superb in my novices opinion and all others I have spoken with. Problem is they run in perpetual back-order/ long wait time mode due to their order overload. They are that good! BUT, they can't be the only "good" reamer maker. Where else can IO do bidness and expect comparable quality and a shorter delivery time? One reamer took 8 weeks and the others took @ 6 weeks.

Thanks,

John

Brownells sells Clymer and Manson reamers. Both are very good.

If you need a reamer for one job rent one from 4-dproducts.com.

I rent and them, I do not have to worry about in stock... http://www.reamerrentals.com/

they have them to the shop in a couple days. The smith sends it back when he is done in the pre paid envelope

I doubt you'll find a shorter lead time but you can try JGS or Manson. Last reamer I got from Pacific took 8 months. Long story but lesson learned, don't talk to anyone but Megun when looking for information or ordering.
