I am wanting to build a 12-15 lb 338 edge I currently have a 338 win mag as the donor rifle.. What is the optimum barrel length for this cartridge not including break..

Optimum? 30" to maximize velocity as well as being able to burn all of that slow powder. Now depending on the use of the rifle, you may want to go shorter.

I'm running mine at 30" as well.
