.476 boltface ? for a 6.5x55

Im looking into making a spare LA CF action I have into 6.5x55
looking at the what fits- in frequently asked questions -it says i need a .476 bolt face
looked at midway -they dont list one - can I mod & use a .473 ?
I think I can open it up .003 pretty easy

The .473 will fit it no problem. Savage's bolt heads run large to begin with and will typically measure closer to 0.480"

I have had no problem getting 6.5 brass to fit easily in my .473 boltface. I don't have a barrel yet, so I am not actually shooting it just yet.
If DaveMuzz reads this, he's been shooting 6.5 swede for a while and can probably confirm or deny my answer.

These guys are right. You should have no issues with the .473 size.
