pistol caliber in stevens 200

Hi, I've found a good deal on drop in barrels for my Stevens 200 and I'm wondering if there's any reason I can't make my Stevens 200 shoot a pistol caliber, like 9mm, .40 S&W, or .45 acp? I didn't see them in the list of calibers thread.

Has anyone done this so far?

Will it take major fiddling/surgery to an existing bolt face?

It has been done and did require a lot of work. Magazines and boltheads are the main problems and pistol calibers with rimmed cartridges are almost impossable to do other than as single shots. Perhaps one of the guys who have done it will chime in with commentary.
