Everyone raves about the SSS trigger but the action i traded for.on here had a three screw and i tuned it down to a very crisp 2lbs and it shoots absolutley great now. Im easily getting 1/2 moa and even won a bench shoot with it this last weekend with a total of 4.764" over 20 shots at 100 & 200 yds. And these were 5 shot groups.

The rifle basix is very easy to install. If you have any questions about installation I believe they have the instructions on their web site so you can look at them before you buy.

The SSS Competition Trigger is a great value and an awesome trigger. All of my Savage rifles wear them.

The newer triggers the stevens are coming with (i think same as the axis) really suck! I had one and it was horrible. Is the trigger on ur the one with the yellow plastic at the back of it where the pull spring is located?

And there are several types of triggers......one being the three screw....and of course the accutrigger which i kinda didnt mind. Worked great for me.

first time i installed one and i thought the instructions were quite good. the old saying, "if i can do it, you can too" applies here!
