savage 116 safari rifle?

I am trying to collect the Savage rifle model 116 Safari rifle,what would like to know if they were made in the .425 caliber?and was the 425 caliber a Savage design cartridge or what? Also where did they all go? Because you cannot find them at all in the control model,would someone please post if they know where one for sale in the .425 caliber.

The catalog listed a .425 Express but I don't know if they actually made any.

There are a few out there. I had a chance to get one for $450 about 5 years ago. The guy bailed on me at the last minute though. I haven't seen another one since.

The 425 Express is a modified 300 Win case. Midway USA has brass available. Good luck in your search!
