So I have almost finished my 111 7mm RM hunting project and was looking around Midway when I stumbled across an aluminum magazine follower. It is a direct drop in replacement and is not a single shot follower. What would be the benefits of this aluminum one over the factor plastic? No distortion over time? What say you?

I put one in all my Savages.
I don't know if it's functionally better but I prefer all my action parts to be metal.

Is it the Midway one you use? If so do you have to do any fitting? I think Iam gonna go ahead and spring for it.

I buy from Brownells and no fitting required.
I'm pretty sure the Midway one is the same as the Brownells one but I MUCH prefer Brownells.
