Have a Savage 110 FP in 300 mag cal.which I want to switch over to a .338 Lupa,what problems if any would I have with bolt face,etc.Thank you

I would strongly recomend the 338 rem ultra mag or the ackleyversion,

Not a good idea.
Not Strong enough.
I think it was SSS that said the lugs will set back PDQ.

People do built 338 Rums, Edges etc of Savage actions and
that works from what I understand, although I have not built one.

If its not a good idea on a standard long action, than what are the improvements to the 110 BA long action that savage makes other than a different bolt face? I wonder about this all the time! is the action beefier?

Seems like I remember everything around the lug area is thicker/beefier and the material is stronger but thats 2nd hand.
SSS is one person that knows for sure.

Well on the 110 BA chambered 338 LM they went with a small port cut on the long action and only the 338 LM has that feature in a LA. It is only available on short actions in the Target Series otherwise.
