How accurate are they and what ammo are you all shooting?
Thanks

I guess you could say that they can be about this accurate if you have a 25.06 with your own home rolled ammo....

Or...... Maybe even this accurate. Both of these are at 100yds.

I 'spose much like anything else, you'll get out of it what you put into it. From what I've heard, these Axis & Edge rifles have an inherent accuracy that can be disgustingly accurate.
But don't take my word for it. Go ahead... Spend a few bucks. Live a little. WHat the heck.... you only go round once.

If you can see your way clear, buy one. Unless you end up with a total DOG with serious issues (bent barrel, cracked reciever, etc...) they are fun to own. I'm more of a bigger caliber sort but as of late, I have been able to enjoy the pleasures of the 6.5mm.
I have a .243 project underway also which I really can't wait to shoot. It's supposed to be for the grandkids but you know how it is.... G-Pa has to thoroughly check it out & shoot a couple 'o million rounds thru it... :o
COnsidering I really hated the Edge when I first bought it, I've grown to enjoy it more & more each time I load up for it & shoot it.
Mine seem to favor the 100gr & 85gr bullets. I tried IMR7828 but wasn't too impressed. I think I need to go the other way with the propellant.
Getcha self one & getcha some!!! ;)

Bought an Axis in 25-06 last fall for a truck gun. It shot minute of deer to 500 yards with 117 Sierrias but prefered 75grain Vmaxes. Had a spair 6.5-284 barrel so I swapped the 25-06 barrel out.........for now?

Uhhh... CJ?.... On this thread, discussion about taking OFF a 25-06 barrel & replacing it with ANYTHING else, I believe that's in violation of federal law and it's regarded as blasphemy.....
On your knees & ask for forgiveness.......

By the way, how does the Axis / Edge handle with the 6.5 x 284 barrel anyway? I suppose the bullet diameter is the same as the .257". What kinda powder you using with that?

What's a few hundred thousandths between friends?....
I mean, besides a split barrel or other minor technical difficulty?.....
Anyway, I kinda caught that after I posted it, turned off the computer & got in the truck heading cross town. I think it's the dismal rainy weather here. I got the SSssssllllllllooooowwwwwssss..... today.

My bad, thats why I said for now cuz the 25-06 barrel is likely to find its way back on the Axis before fall ;)
