Good afternoon all,

I'm sure this has been posted somewhere before but I suck at Google and the search function is not my friend... I'm reloading for a 338 Lapua Savage 110fcp HS and I picked up some 250 grn Sierra Matchkings in an attempt to get a little more accuracy out of it at 1000 plus yards. I'm looking for a load where I can use Retumbo powder and CCI 250 mag primers. There’s tons of stuff out there on 300grn Matchkings but nothing on the 250’s... any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance
Respectfully
Mike

Load submitted by 'mlkdvm'.
This load was developed using Sierra semi-pointed, jacketed, soft-point, flat-based bullets.
In terms of power, the developer considers this an average load.
Lapua cases and Federal 215 primers were used in development.

As listed....the powder was Vihtavourhi N-560- 90.7 grains with a Federal 215 primer.

I only did a bit of load development with my 110 BA using 250 Matchkings before moving to H1000 and 300 Berger Hybrids.
For Retumbo I was happiest with 93gr, I don't remember the exact number but they were in the low/mid 2700fps.
