is there a 270 in an ai version?

i have been thinking of a 270 wsm for the heavy matrix bullets, but have talked to a guys who is shooting the matrix bullets as fast if not a bit faster than the wsm can. thats why i ask if the 270 has an ackley version

There is an Ackley Improved .270

Ackley said it did not do much more than a .270, but he was using earlier powders.
Since he did not promote it, it did not get much attention.

I have a 25-06 AI and would say the AI is not really worth the trouble. It does shoot bullets very very fast but it seems there is always some sort of tinkering involved with the brass and reloading. I wanted a 270 WSM also until I got a cheap Model 11 in 300 WSM. It is a great round and can do anything you want very easy.

The shoulder on a WSM is already 35 degrees, so AI'ing it
out to 40 degrees won't gain you much, if anything.
