I have a 25-06 that is about 2 years old . Can this gun be converted to a hinged floor plate or removable magazine configuration .

Yes all you need is and inleted stock and the bottom metal and magazine. There on here from time to time for sale. You can use a factory stock or have an after market inleted for around $50.00.

There on here used periodically or Sharp Shooter Supply sells an after market set that is supposed to be really good, I have no first hand experience with the SSS brand I found a used set up on here. You could place a want to buy ad under savage firearms and parts. Detachable
magazine setup usually brings $90.00 to $150.00 depending on mag capacity.
