Will the Rifle Basix Sav 2 trigger work in all generations of centerfire strikers?

Looking at a mid grip, the seller says it has a RB trigger installed, must be a gen 2 or 3? The one that came today is gen 1 and it will not fit. Maybe the one that is for sale has the old RB trigger for the striker?

Will need the 4 screw adjustment set screws for back up replacement on this one. The thumb safety wasn't moving properly, after some adjustment it works, someone had bottommed it out. This is an interesting system.

The Sinarms heavy .223 barrel will fit right on. Was shooting 81 grain with the last 8 twist 20" barrel. Wonder if this one will?

i had heard they use to make them for the mids. I have also seen a SAV-1 modified to work on the mid grip platform a guy on specialty pistols did it. go over there and ask, lots of very good info

Actually you can use it either way, for a mid grip you will have to saw the trigger shoe off though. The Sav-3 was a Striker trigger for the mid-grip guns but was discontinued as far as I know. Take a close look at your trigger assembly and you will see what you need to do.

Afraid I've been bit by the striker bug.

it does not get any better. I now have three true striker actions. a 6BRX rear grip, smokeless .50 ML mid grip and my newest 7WSM rear grip

I loved mine too but decided to stay with the break open specialty pistols. I may get another one some day, mine was a hummer and turned in several groups that would (did) make rifle shooters jealous.

I have a new sinarms pistol barrel in .223 that may get re-chambered to .221fb for the striker. The staggered feed mag and short action take the cartridge just fine. It would make it just under 14." The xp's had a 9 twist barrel, this one is 8 twist, guess it will work?
