Base/Rings for M11 Hog Hunter Burris 2-7x 35mm

I ran through the FAQ and a few pages of threads, I didn't see my configuration addressed.

I just got the gun and scope. I was thinking of going with Warne bases and QD 1" rings. I'd like to mount the scope as low as possible, so I was wondering if I could get away with the low rings with the 35mm scope on this medium barrel rifle.

I can't find them local, so I gotta order them, and I'd like to get it right the first time. Will the low rings work, or do I need to look at medium to be safe?

The gun is a .308, btw.

The low rings worked great. Thanks for the advice.

FWIW, I only had 1/2" play to move the Burris forward and back. But all the way back worked great for me.
