What's a good product to paint a stock with.
I have a Savage Tupperware (rubbery stuff) stock in a color I hate. I think I'd like to camo it (last choice) or just paint it black (best choice).
What's a good paint / method to use considering I hate to paint & really suck at it.....

Make it something easy as I can do many, many things really well. Painting is NOT one of them :o

I like the Testors Model Master sprays. They can be had in lots of shades and colors and are formulated for plastics.

Rustoleum stone texture paint. Then spray some Krylon webbing paint over it. Seems to be pretty durable.

Mike is just full of surprises. I like the way that looks.

As far as hydrographics, one of my '06's has that on a newer Stevens stock. It looks great but how difficult is it to apply? I've had the process explained by a knowledgeable gunsmith / range officer. It kinda sorta sounded like the way a decal is put on.

I may just look into that - costwise & applicationwise. I like the Mossy Oak look and they have a few different patterns. If it looks like something I can do with the 5 arthritic riddled thumbs I have in each hand, I may go that way.

If not, A can of paint and a dust free room & away we go :o

Thanx guys ;)
