I've never seen a 4 screw in real life but what actions were they made for?

Anything that uses that style of trigger in a 110/10 series. Somewere around 1966-2000, before the accu-trigger, and the Stevens 200 can use it as well.

Thanks guys!

Any advantages to the four screw trigger?
What does that fourth screw do?

I've got one on my Stevens 200 LA and with a lot of patience and trial and error I've got it breaking right at 3lbs with a nice crisp feel.
I followed an article I found online about adjusting it.

The originals had a pivot pin with no head the 4th screw held in place. No advantage to the next ones that had a pin with a head and C clip. No screw needed to hold them in place, eliminating a machining process. The trigger still floated between the plates. Now if you combine the 4 screw with a headed pin You could in theory hold the trigger closer to one side if the hanger plate maybe giving it a more stable support.

Or you could shim it with feeler gauge stock.
