Model 12 FCV Stock

I'm going to pick up a new Savage Model 12 FCV in .223, and was wondering if anyone knew what these tupperware stocks were like.? Pillar bedded I believe.....but worth the time to do a Davcon bedding job, or should I look to upgrade to a B&C stock?

I bought one in 22 250 last year and it shoots real good with the accustock. I would try it first before spending any more money. Bill
