LH Axis?

Has anybody seen any of the LH Axis on the horizon, or heard anything new about Savage making them?

I gave up waiting when I found I could get a left hand Trophy Hunter XP with a 3x9 Nikon ProStaff for $525 OTD. It has an Accutrigger and a detachable magazine and I am tickled. I picked it up last Saturday as a retirement present for myself.

I got tired of waiting too.I bought a Tikka T3 but if the Trophy Hunter would have been available a couple weeks sooner thats what I would have bought.

I"ve got one on order to gift to a grandchild. My dealer assures me that it will be here in June, 2012 and I'm paying steadily on the layaway. If it doesn't come in on time, I'll switch the layaway to another rifle. Life's too short to wait for rifles.
