Hello everybody!!! What are my chances of finding a new or used factory laminate stock for a target action? Does savage sell them? I'm guessing slim to none since i've been looking everywhere even accurateshooter.com.

Thank you

Try Numrich Gun Parts and search for savage laminate stocks. I bought a factory model 11 laminate there on Thursday and they had some model 12s. Not sure if they are the exact one you are looking for but that is where you can start.

Hey Werewolf, thank you for that nice site in case I need some parts. I couldn't find what I was looking but the search continues.

Call Savage. They might sell them as a replacement part.

Well,
Most target actions came in a HS precision fiberglass stock. Then there is the F class, and the Benchrest in laminate, and that is it. You would be better off just getting a stock from SSS, for what you would pay for a factory stock if you can find it.

Yeah I pulled the trigger on a F class stock straight from Savage. Should be here soon. Thank you Gentlemen for all the help!!! I'm sure i'll be back here again asking some build questions. :)

I would ask them if the bottom rear of their F class stock is still a different width from front to rear, the one i had would not track very well. Just my experience with the factory F class stock.

Are you talking about the 112BT stock which was the predecessor to the BVSS stock (or boat oar as the are sometimes called)
