Hello, I'm new to Strikers and have the older style longbars type trigger assembly. Problem is Ive got the trigger adjusted to about where I want it and its not slam firing when dropping the bolt. But, now I've discovered the safety when on safe still allows the gun to fire. Can anyone explain how I can remedy this? Help Much appreciated.
Hey Bearskinner,
Welcome to the forum!
On your Striker there should be a screw directly under the safety in the trigger bar, it's the last screw (farthest aft). With the safety in the on position, tighten this screw until it just contacts the safety bar. This adjustment should block upward trigger movement, make sure to test thoroughly.

Thanks Bob, I'll give it a go. Sorry to get back to you so late but I work almost around the clock for 3 days on and 4 days off. I really appreciate the info. JT
