I just got a 116 dm in 300 win mag and I'm looking for a stock for hunting any ideas stockades is to high for me

If it is stagger or centerfeed check out Boyds. Under $100 drop ins in laminate. Walnut a little higher, $119 I think. For an extra $50 you can have them checkered. I kinda like the Prairie Hunter model myself. It will be my next buy for my .35 Whelen. They have a classic style and a thumbhole available also.

yep, i got an classic for my model 116 in 270win and it looks really good! barrel free floats and it was an easy drop in(only had to get longer screw for front of action). try one, they add class to your rifle for very little and i haven't read or heard anything about them. very good deal!
