I've been looking for a used 223 (local) for about 6 months and they are rare in these parts. Today, I found a 110 with accutrigger, in good shape, for $250. Can I turn this into a .223 without a ton of blood and sweat?

Yes, you'll need a .378 long action bolt head (somewhat rare, but SSS sells a kit including complete SA bolt head that works in a LA). You'll also probably need to run it as a single-shot...

Dang. Hate to spend a bunch of cash to have a single feed. Guess I just need to spend the money and be done with it.

You have a second option then...
CDI Precision makes a DBM for Savage 110 long actions that accepts 308 magazines. Buy one, have your stock inletted, use 10rd AICS 223 magazines and rock on!
