Trying to figure out what WMR ammo to use on groundhogs and tested a few on paper today. I think I'm going to give the Hornady Critical Defense 45gr FTX a try. It's as accurate as 40gr Maxi-Mags at 50 yards, and the trajectory is close enough for hunting out to 150 yards. Anybody use them on organic targets yet?

I recently ordered a Tacticool stock from my 93R17. Boyds warned me that I would need to buy additional action screws - I couldn't find any 12-32s at the hardware store.

The trigger is canted ever so slightly to one side with this stock - the binding point is not obvious. Over the last few years I have accumulated a router table with lift and a sled that rides in a track so that I can do some more precise inletting. I am pretty sure that shaving a small amount of material will do the trick.
