Pardon the pun, but when buying a Steven's 200 for a build, and you know you are going to sell the barrel right away, what is the caliber that's the easiest to sell what

short action 223 - 22-250 - 243 or 308

and what long action

270 - 7mm - 30-06 - 300win

dont forget about the 7-08 or the 25-06.

About a year ago, the 7-08's were the "in demand" take-off barrel.

If the price of all the rilfes are the same, I would get the proper bolt face first and worry about selling the barrel second. The barrel will sell if priced right and if you dont need to spend $20 to get an extra bolt face, it may offset a little if you have to sell the barrel a little cheaper... Does that make sense, or did I just go in a circle?? ???

They stopped offering the 25-06 and 7-08 a couple years ago, I was asking for both actions depending on what you wanted to build.

Seems like the 243s & 7-08s are snatched up pretty quick around here.

Yeah, 243. And I'll take it if George doesn't. ;)
