Swapping Metal Trigger guard on accutrigger rifle?

Will the metal trigger guard I bought for old stagger feed fit an accutrigger model? Looks to clear but original plastic one has a larger squared pocket at rear vs the narrow relief at the rear of the metal one. ???

I've got metal trigger guards on all my Savages and they fit fine in the composite stocks that came with the rifles as well as the wood/laminate ones I use as well. 2 Accu-trigger and 2 non accu-trigger.
