Hunting or mcs-sl or mcs-t by manners. Anyone own one on the savage long or short action rifle?

If you do, I'd like to hear about your thoughts on them.

Did it come ready to go or need alteration?

Is it stiff for bipod use? Does it support recoil well.

I have an accutriger blind mag. model in 280 (long action).

and a short action in 300 wsm non accutrigger model. Looking at all options.

Thanks

RatMag (I think he goes by here) has lots o' experience with the MCS-T on a Savage. He also had a T3 that I was about 10 minutes late seeing/buying on SnipersHide last year! ;D

I've got a T2 on my 10FP and will likely be buying another for a 110 build, though there's an outside shot I'll end up with a T3.

FWIW, there's a long-action Manners MCS-SL for sale here: http://savageshooters.com/SavageForum/index.php/topic,49993.0.html
