I stopped at a buddy's house yesterday and he showed me a Savage single shot pistol. It was purchased in 1968 with a box of shell with tax for under 24.00. It came in a leather grained box, it appears to be a revolver but is a single shot. the barrel and cylinder swing out and you load the shell in the barrel, close, shoot, open and it has an ejector rod like a single-six Ruger and you eject. The model # is a 101 and the serial # I believe was 42105 may be missing a digit, that's what happens when you reach 50. It is in verygood shape with the box and paper work. Would anyone have an idea of the value on this firearm? It's not for sale but we were wondering. Thanks All. :)

I've got one of them, fun little guns for plinking with. Alot louder than a regular rimfire rifle but still fun.

They run about $100-$175 depending on condition. Seeing as how this one has the original box with it I'd go to the higher end of my estimate.

I'd make sure it's the original box as reproduction's are available.

Snowman,
Teele has one of those that his grandfather gave him. We've never shot it tho.
Not sure if he took it with him with the rest of his guns.
