Anyone used an Axis/Edge action to make a precision rifle? What stocks fit? Barrels? Triggers? Is the Axis/Edge action a viable alternative to the Savage or Stevens LA/SA?
What do you consider precision?
Most are sub moa @ 100yds, with the rifles preferred ammo. They have no aftermarket stocks available and a few aftermarket triggers but not many. Actions are universal la/sa. And considered to be inferior to the Savage/Stevens actions. But by no means are they a bad action.

If by precision you mean accurate lon range gun, I am building mine.
Savage Axis 223 action, Savage 12VLP 223 barrel with a 1:7 twist, laminated single shot stock, pillar bedding, 20 moa scope base. The bedding is curing as I write this.
