25-06 HElp!!!!

I customized a stevens 270 centerfeed blind mag. I turned it into a 25-06 centerfeed blind mag. Where the heck do I go or who can I turn to and make it Drop Mag?

From what I have read the procedure is to purchase the detachable box magazine (DBM) bottom metal (they come up for sale used from time to time on this site), inlet your stock and install it.
Then, purchase the actual DBM baseplate. Your centerfire internal mag will attach easily to the baseplate and now you have a detachable mag.
To the best of my knowlege, no changes are needed to change a mag from 270 to 25-06.

thomae is right on the money.....you could also just buy a long action stock already made for the bottom metal.

Savage bottom metal can be purchased through Sharp Shooter Supply or Savage. I turned my Stevens 25-06 into a 22-6mm with detachable mag. I got a stock with bottom metal from a member here.

Add some paint and other goodies....ta da!
