Thoughts on functionality of laminated

Also, does any companies sell inletted only- laminated stocks, w/ no or little shaping?

Have worked over 2 Richards stocks. They come in rough!!! A little work and the diamond shines through.....If you do not want the rosewood cap - be very specific about that. Would buy another one..
