Hi everyone..I just picked up a new rifle it's a Savage model 12 VLP in 22-250 I'm now looking for a scope & Ring's.
I was wondering if anyone has this scope and what they think of it. Also what rings would you recomend for this gun or picatinney rail and ring's. It also has 2 reticals a fine muti plex / or mil dots I will be target shooting an some varmint out to 300 meters. This rifle thing is all new to me so I'm looking for some good advise thank's.

I have that scope with the fine plex reticle. It is a very nice and very clear scope. I would recommend it to anyone.

For rings I would say Burris Signature Zee rings, but they are on National Backorder so you'll need something else. Maybe a set og burris XTR's or a set of Warne Maxima rings instead. Maybe even a set of Talleys, which are a ring/base combo.

I'm using one on my Model 700 in .260 Remington. I had to pass on some easy dawn/dusk shots last hunting season (with my old scope) so I upgraded. So far I'm very happy with it. Here's a picture, I used a Badger Ordnance Base and Medium Height Burris 30mm Signature Zee Rings. I thought Burris would have their "manufacturing problem" fixed back in January but nothing changed - good luck finding a set!

Scope looks good on your gun. I'm in Canada and the dealers hear I deal with have lots of the burris zee rings in stock.
