Anybody know of a source for Allen head action screws for a 110? All replacement screws I see are slotted.

Try a well stocked hardware store like ACE Hardware. Any industrial supplier will also have them, like McMaster-Carr etc.

We have some good information in our sticky's and by using the search engine. Give it a whirl since you a are the proud owner of a barrel nut. Later you may want to join SSA(Savage Shooters Annonymous).

Kind of a topic of interest for me... converted my 110BA to a 110FCP - only to find the rear action screw for the models with the AI DBM is significantly longer than anything else in my box of actions screws. Couldn't find anything at the local hardware store(s) (ACE True Value) anymore - nothing in 1/4-28 that is long enough for the short screws, much less this monster. Ended up ordering a set of bottom metal screws from Savage.

Now, having ordered a set of Accurate Mag AI DBM for my 12 LRP... same problem. The rear action screw needs to be significantly longer than anything else to fit their two-piece bottom metal. Still can't find anything locally, and trying to find a suitable replacement on the Net - short of having to order *one* screw from Savage.

The 'longer' action screws listed here:

http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=1273/Product/LONG-TRIGGERGUARD-SCREWS

all have countersunk heads, which would be fine if the bottom metal was set up to accommodate that. I'm aware that it would work, but I'd rather have the rounded button head style screws to match the originals if possible. Still looking...
