Got a TR today. Burris zee rings wouldn't fit the bases that came on it. What kind of rings are you guys using with the factory bases? Or, are you changing bases? Thanks for any help. Anxious to shoot this thing.

I just bought a Mark II BV and the Burris Z-rings. I bought Weaver #24, 2-piece bases. You have to remove the screw from the Z-rings and slide it on from the front or rear of the base, then put screw back in.

On My Fv Mark II I used the Barska rings, and also use the Weaver Scope Ring you can get them both off Ebay very reasonably priced.

My TR has a EGW 20 MOA base for more elevation. Warne rings.

I put a set of these z-rings on my friends TRR. I used leupold QRW's on mine. Both work very well.

Good catch Gomizzou1954. I didnt think of that being his problem. When I put my zee Rings on the 1st time I thought the same as 1wps. It took me a minute or two to realise I needed to pull the screw out and slide it on.

Note: Be sure not to tighten the nut too tightly. You run the risk of breaking the bolt if you do.
