Quit work at 3:00 today and dashed out to one of my local stands. Rained all day so the walking was quiet. In the stand by 3:20, soaked by 4:00, dead deer at 4:30. One shot, through the shoulders with my 835 and a copper solid and it was out like a light at about 80 yards, hanging in the garage cooling by 6:00. Nothing special, just a nice healthy (tender and tasty) button buck. And before anybody asks; if I knew it was a button I would have let him go.

There is meat on the hook so now it's muzzle loader time! ;D

I have to work Ed >:( I did get to wack a nice doe this morning. A 100 grain Sierra Gameking @ 3400 fps out of a 25-06 does nasty things!

Aww Crap! I was hoping you could go. Definatley need to avoid shoulder shots with those bullets. Go for the lungs with them. I switched from them and 115 B-tips to the 110 acubonds for my 25's and never looked back. Should be a good bullet for the 250AI though.
