I recently rebarreled with a CBI light varmit contour barrel and restocked an older 110 with a Duramax stock. Any suggestions as to correct torque settings for the 2 action screws with the Duramax stock?

Thanks.

I start at 43 lbs and adjust when I take it to the range for site in. Backing off until I get by best result. Never taken them over 45 lbs.

I definitely get different result with different Savage actions and different torque setting on the action screws.

I think the lowest setting I have on any rifle is 39lbs

Yeah.....I would think he means that. All rifle torque settings are in in\lbs. As opposed to auto settings which would be in ft\lbs. 'Cause 45 ft\lbs would put the screw right thru the action!!!! :o :P :-\ :-X

yes sorry in/lbs, my bad. I would think 45 would be the max I would want to go, that is why I typically start at 43 and work back
