MVP

Has anyone checked out the new Mossberg MVP. It looks like a Savage with accutrigger and barrel nut. The neat thing is the bottom metal is mfged to accept the AR-15 mags!!! I wonder if that bottom metal will fit the model 12 two screw?? Any thoughts?

I think the biggest problem is that the savage bolt is not designed to strip rounds out of the AR mag. The MVP has a tab on the bolt that drops down to strip the rounds. I imagine with a sufficient amount of money and some good engineering you could get a savage to feed from an AR mag but I know it will not be easy or cheap.
