older 110 in .243 mag box follower?

Will the mag spring and follower off of a newer model 10 staggered feed ( around 2000 manufacture) in .243 work in an older 110 in .243 as a drop in part?
I wasn't sure if there was an action length difference and what the difference in the mag box may have been.

The 243 came in the intermediate actions (110). I just sold one and I never measured the mag box to see if it was long or short action length. If you want to measure the dimensions of your current mag box, I would be glad to compare it to my short action mag boxes.

I have a factory long action 110 .243 and it uses a short action mag box, hope this helps.

A guy on another outdoor forum was looking for a follower and spring for one of the older youth 110s in 243 and I had a model 10 follower and spring on my bench I was gonna give him if it fit. I wasn't sure if the older 110s had a long box with extra plastic in the back of the follower or what?
