SIMMONS PROTARGET 3-9 OR 4-12 OR 6-18

I need a moderately priced scope. The Simmons Prohunter seems a likely candidate. I'd favor the 4-12 or 6-18, but know nothing about these scopes.
Would you tell me about yours, how it works etc.?
Anyone have another candidate in mind around $150?

Thanks for the advice, I bought the Simmons Whitetail Classic 6.5-20. Got it Wed, haven't shot with it yet, certainly works good looking out the window.
