Hello calib my barrel is a Shaw 26 inch 1 in 8 twist . I have been using 140 gr. bullets so far but I may try some 95 or 100s .

Check 6MMBR site there is a good article on the 260AI.

Twarren I have been using 140 Nosler Custom Comp. and 140 Sie. match and Hornady A-max because I have them left over from a former 6.5-284. I also have about 10 Lbs of RL-22 & 8 Lbs of IMR 4831 so I hated to get another powder. I guess if I have to I will. With those 2 powders and the bullets I have been getting about 2932 - 2989 fps. and no pressure signs at 47 t0 47.5 gr. I also thought that by going to a little lighter bullet it would give me a little less recoil. I haven.t done too much shooting with this barrel yet as it only has about 50 rounds through it, but the 2 other Shaw barrels I have are great. A 243 24inch Varmit will put 5 rounds into .093 C to C at 100 yds. the best I have gotten yet.
