detachable mag help

I am new to Savages and really long range shooting in general. I have purchased a Savage model 10 with a detachable 4 round magazine in .308 win. I was wondering about my options as far as aftermarket magazines. I would rather not pay the $200+ for a new floor plate ect... Does anybody know of any higher cap mag that will fit the standard mag well?

sharp shooter supply has extended mags, but why. You can shoot long range with the factory mag. If im not mistaken if you shoot NRA FTR or something similar, they are single loaded anyway.

i just like the look of an extended mag.. i live in ohio so i am not planning on big game hunting with my rifle, just for predators, plinking, and zombies haha. i doubt i will ever get good enough for competitions but i do enjoy out shooting my buddies and there remingtons
