Well I'm off to the Blackwater NWR in about 16 hours to see if I can knock over a Sika stag and hind ! I can also pop a WT buck and doe or a pair of slicks . But the main objective for this trip is the wiley Sika 6 Point Stag !

Gonna take the 220F with a Leupold Vari XII 3-9 on top and loaded with the Remington AccuTip !

This combination for 3 shots at 100 yards was minute of angle in this gun !

I'm taking my Savage 210F along as well . It's also equipped with a Leupold Vari XII 3-9 and shooting the Remington AccuTips although the Winchester XP3 shoots just as well !

If I get a deer before lunch with the 20 gauge I just might switch guns after lunch !

I've had the 210F for 10 years now and killed a fair amount of deer with it , but never using a polymer tipped slug !

Regardless of whether I score or not some pics will follow ;D

Well the Savage 220F passed with flying colors !

Shot a doe at 117 yards at about 3:30 PM today . She took maybe a dozen steps after the shot and fell right over !

Will try and post pics tuesday !
