Good afternoon gentlemen, ladies,

I am researching a Savage MKII, .22 L.R., laminated thumbhole stock, acc-trigger, heavy bbl. rifle.

The Savage abbreviations leave something to be desired, therefore, I turn to you for an explaination. My questions are as follows:

1. Does Savage make such a rifle and if so, what is the model identification?

2. Is the barrel fluted"

3. Is the rifle stainless steel or blued steel?

4. Does Savage, or anybody else make a single shot adaptor?

5. Is there an aftermarket trigger that will adjust to the 6-8 oz. range?

6. What is the length of pull?

7. What is the barrel diameter at the muzzle?

Thank you for your time.

With respect,

Roger

At a minimum, the answers to questions 1, 2 & 3 are on the Savage Arms website.

MKII BTV or BTVS
B = laminate stock
T = thumbhole
V = varmint/heavy barrel
S = stainless steel

Go to savages site, click the firearms tab, select Gun Finder, click the caliber tab, select 22 lr, you get 35 results, click the stock tab, select wood laminate, now there are 6 results, click accu-trigger tab, select yes, still 6 results. That should narrow it down for you. I don't know the answers to the rest of your questions.
