I've finally found a Sightron 8x32x56 MOA scope and will be using Burris Signature Z rings on an EGW 0 MOA base.
My question to those that might have mounted a 56mm objective scope on a 1 piece base (varmint contour barrel), what height rings did you use? Have you gotten by with medium Burris rings? I don't have the scope yet and might use modeling clay to measure the clearance later, but wanted to learn from those out there that are ahead of me.
Thanks!!

Probably tall. I have several 50mm scopes and they need tall rings and clear by a little.

Heck, take it to a gunshop and try.

It should be easy for you to figure it out yourself.
First, measure your own equipment carefully.

As KRP stated, mediums will be good. I have the hd egw 0 base along with burris extreme med. rings. Scope set way to high so I got lows on order. I think the hd base is slightly shorter than the standard base, if so lows might work for you if you have a standard base.
