MT. antelope ?

can anyone help explain to me how the draws for antelope hunts work in montana? i am wanting to go over and do a hunt or two with a buddy of mine, but dont know how draw, raffles ect work.

You have to contact or go on-line to Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks for this years CURRENT info. I do know the applications have to be Postmarked NLT June 1. You can get the applications on-line or they can mail them to you. On-line is easier as it (the on-line programming) won't let you leave anything out that would disqualify you.
You didn't say what area you guys want to hunt. Mt. is divided into 7 Regions. The Eastern half of the state has more goats and they acctually taste better than the ones from the Western half (?) but, the tags are harder to get.
Drawing an Antelope tag is somtimes difficult, that is, you may get lucky the first time or it may take a few tries.
When you do fill out the app. be sure to spend the $2 for the "Bonus Points System", that way you have a little more horsepower in the next draw if your not picked this time.
Anyway, that's the basics. Non-Residents need to call 1-406-444-2535 between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Mountain time to get the OFFICIAL version.
