Rifle will not cock

I have a savage 110 non accutrigger. When I cycle the bolt i can feel tension on the bolt handle as im dropping the bolt down as if i am decocking the rifle. I apologize if Im using the wrong wording. i have not done anything to the factory trigger. I am completely lost and help with this would be great.

figured it out ....im an idiot....I had the bolt in wrong, now maybe i should recheck the headspacing on my rifles if i missed something this simple....DOHH.....

seriously man i cannot believe i did that and i never thought the darn thing would work with the bolt in the opposite direction like it was. i think i had it set up for left hand ejection lol. i didn't take it shooting today because of that lol oh well lesson learned right.

good point no blood no foul right things like this actually may be good at times because its all a learning experience....i would have never know it would have worked backwards....

That's better than what I did. Last barrel swap I did I had the same issue, sort of, mine would FIRE on close. :o Wouldn't that be fun in hunting camp.....

I scratched my head a few times and finally figured out the head was put together wrong also. Really weird. I never figured it would do that either, but it did.
