Aloha guys,
I have a Scheel's Paragon 3-12x42 on my Model 10 FCP-K and I'm looking at putting a sunshade on it. My primary range looks S/SW and the only times I'm free to shoot put the sun at a low enough angle that I get glare and reflection in my scope.
The inner edge and front ~1/8th inch of the objective end appears threaded so I'm wondering if the threads are a factory standard or does each brand have a proprietary thread depth for sunshades? I've seen 42mm shades from Nikon and a few other manufacturers but I'm hesitant on pulling the trigger in case they don't fit.
