Blind box mag parts?

Can someone help me out? A friend of mine is thinking about buying a Savage from a distributer that were ordered special for them. It appears to be a Mod 12 SA SS Fluted Varmint in 270 WSM with a hinged floor plate. It has a grey syn. stock on it which I'm sure is a tupperware. He wants to put a B&C Medalist on it, which is for a blind box mag. Can he just buy a box, spring & follower for it to use in the B&C. If so where can you buy these parts. Thanks

If it's a centerfeed model, the mag box, follower and spring are the same parts used on the hinged floorplate model.
