Well as usual I find a good load my rifle likes and can't find anymore 162 amaxs. Sucks but man what a good excuse to try out some 180 gr vlds. First trip had good results with a couple groups under .5". Interested to know if anyone having good luck with em out of 7 mag with rl-25. I have seen a lot of guys getting real close to 3000 fps and wondering how many are seeing the same results. Most these guys loading anywhere from 64-68gr which is well over bergers max listed charge but they list only a little over 2800fps. Lemme know what velocities y'all are seeing with charge weights.

That sounds a little, or a lot, on the hot side for a 7 mag. I'd stick closer to the recommended loads.

Most Definately HOT. I have worked up loads before and I will push a little but 68 is over 4 grains over max. If primer pockets start gettin loose I'll back off that's a good indicator I'm hot even if I get no other signs. I will say that I feel the data for the 7 mag is downloaded a little because there are lots of people coming up waay short of the manuals velocities seems more so than most calibers.
