Changing bolt heads from .473 to .378

Do you need to change the baffle to accomodate the smaller cartridge? I have gone the other way,but cant remember.

No.

In fact, if one wanted to run a CDI DBM using AICS 223 magazines, you'd have to have a non-extended baffle as it won't pick up rounds from the mag with the extended baffle.

Learned that one the hard way...
