From 6.5 to 6 I would think just run them thru the 6mm die. I've necked down a lot of 22 br from 6mm br and one pass and trim.

Yep. Just run it through the die.

I resize 7 RM brass to 257 Roy that way and it works fine... obviously a bit bigger bump down there than what you're talking, too...

Use a good quality sizing lubricant and you should have no trouble.

+1, Imperial Sizing Wax comes to mind.

lust ordered my redding dies for the 6-284 and the 22 250 ai cant wait to get the 6 284 dies and then the 6.5 284 brass and get it all prepped and ready so when my barrel shows up i can gauge it and start loading some 95 grn berger loads up. any suggestions for loads with that bullet? i am thinking reloader 22, thats what i use now in my 243 ai.

any suggestions on the 22 250 ai. i am thinking the 55 grn ballistic tip, but would maybe like to try a 60 grain bullet if i could get it going fast enough to make it worth while. never shot molied bullets before, but what would the difference in speed be between a naked and a molied of the same bullet?

I'd highly recommend Ramshot Magnum in the 6mm-284. Email them and ask for data... their lead ballistician Johan is a GREAT help and usually gets back to me quickly when I have some off-the-wall cartridge I'm loading for.

Good luck w/ the new cartridges,
